A little math, a little creativity, and a lot of heart.
I’ve always been a bit of a numbers nerd. I studied mathematics and secondary education at the University of Maryland and spent three years teaching high school math before moving into program management at Hewlett-Packard, where I worked with schedules, budgets, data, and government contracts.
When my kids were little, I wanted a way to contribute financially while being more present at home. That’s what led me into direct sales — and I found out pretty quickly that I loved the people side of business just as much as the numbers.
Over the years, I’ve built teams, mentored entrepreneurs, created training resources, and discovered that some of my favorite work happens at the intersection of organization, creativity, and helping people grow.
